An open letter to all patients at Spring House Surgery

Hello all,

As we approach the end of mandatory coronavirus restrictions, we would like to inform you about the changes that have been made to some of the services that the Practice offers.

More appointments are now available to see some clinicians face to face. This will be dependent on the clinical needs of the patient and nature of the appointment. Space in the waiting room will be limited to those with face to face appointments and will not be available any earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time.

We would still ask that you do not attend the surgery unless you have a pre booked appointment, the telephone should remain your first point of contact with the Practice.

Repeat prescription will continue to be dealt with via electronic means.

If you are displaying any symptoms of Coronavirus you must also self-isolate and complete a PCR test.

We appreciate that the mandatory wearing of masks is due to be lifted however, as a Practice, we are insisting that patients continue to wear face coverings when inside the building and for the duration of your appointment. This is to protect our vulnerable patients and staff who may be sharing the space.

Thank you for your continued patience, understanding, and support as we get used to another new way of operating.

We remain hopeful that normality is not too far away.
